HID Conversion Kits provide more than 300 percent the amount of light of a Halogen bulb. The clear white light produced by HID Conversion Kits is similar to daylight, reflecting road markings and signs better than conventional lighting. The Xenon Bulb is a micro-discharge bulb filled with a mixture of noble gases including Xenon, and its life time of the bulb is equal to that of the car. The bulb has no filaments and the light arc is created by two electrodes, giving it a wider range of illumination. These Systems are modified for specific vehicle applications and fit directly into your existing headlights.

What Is Included In This Kit?

2 Light Bulbs (One moving bulb for each side that works for the low beam and high beam)

2 Ballasts

2 Installation Brackets and Screw

Owners Manual

Advantages of Our HID Xenon Kit:
Plug and Play on Most Cars: Our complete HID Conversion Kit is "plug and play" for all halogen bulbs headlights.H1, H3, H4, H7, H11, H13, 9004, 9005, 9006 and 9007.
Save Power: HID light consume only 35W of electricity making them over 3 times more efficient than traditional halogen bulbs.
Longer Life: HID light lasts over 2500 hours = 3 or 4 years maintenance free.
Safety: HID light increased brightness of 300% (over traditional halogen bulbs) adds an extra margin of safety.
Appearance: Attractive, cool bluish/white light is comfortable and very close to the natural light emitted by the sun. It makes everything easier to see at night.

How Do I Decide What Bulb Size My Car Needs?

To help you figure out what bulb size you car need click here

Our Xenon/Halogen HID kit is available in the following sizes: H4 hi/lo, h13 hi/lo, 9004 hi/lo and 9007 hi/lo. And the following colors: 3000K, 4300K, 5000K, 6000K, 8000K, 10000K, 12000K, 30000K, Pure Blue and Pink or Purple

HID Xenon Conversion Kit Installation Guide

HID Conversion Kits might be illegal in some states and are sold for off road or show use only. Check with your local BMV for more information.

Helpful Information and Installation Tips:

Do not touch the HID bulb. If you do touch the bulb during installation, clean with alcohol.

Do not look directly into the bulb when it is turned on as it may cause permanent damage to your eyes.

Headlights must be properly adjusted after installation. HID bulbs are much brighter than halogen bulbs. By not adjusting your headlights, you may reduce the visibility of oncoming traffic due to glare. If you do not know how to adjust your headlights, please consult a professional.

Do not drop or apply inappropriate/unnecessary force to your HID components as doing so may cause damage to them. If any damage is discovered, discontinue use and contact your retailer. Do not use the system until the problem is solved, in order to avoid possible electric-shock or fire.

The HID system generates 23000volts when activated. Do not use wet or oily hands when installing or inspecting the system. Or you may be subjected to severe burns or electric-shock.

Make sure all connectors and wires are secured and away from any hot surfaces. Wires that are loose or resting against a hot surface may cause electrical hazards.

Do not turn on the bulb near flammable material when it is outside of headlight housing.

Do not turn lights on/off rapidly. Doing so may reduce the lifespan of your bulbs.

Do not install HID system in any housing with cracks. Moister may damage the bulb or cause electric-shock.

Before final installation pre-test all the components. Ensure compatibility by plugging in all the wires and turning the system on.

Note: Special adapters, connectors, modules or harness may be needed to correctly install the HID system on some vehicles. Make sure you have everything needed for your vehicle. BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Dodge/Chrysler and Volkswagen are only a few that may need special installation materials.

Single Beam Installation Instructions:

Verify that the HID Conversion Kit you received have all the component needed for the installation (A list of component available below)

Disconnect the car battery.

Remove the factory light bulbs. If your vehicle's headlights have dust caps, please remove them as well.

If your vehicle is equipped with headlight dust caps, drill a 1"(24mm) hole to accommodate the wiring harness.

Remove the xenon HID bulb from the protective casing. Be careful NOT to touch the bulb. Handle it by its plastic base. If any grease or dirt gets on the bulb wipe clean with rubbing alcohol.

Put the bulb's wiring harness through the dust cap (as illustrated).

Insert the xenon HID bulb into your headlight and secure it.

Connect the spade terminals (positive & negative) to the factory headlight wiring harness.

Insert the rubber boot (on the wiring harness) through the hole on the dust cap (which you drilled earlier).

Connect the bulb to the ballast. The quick release will "click" once fully secured.

Find a mounting location for the ballast. Use the ballast bracket, screws or zip-ties as needed. Note: Do not drill holes on the ballast box, mount away from moving components and mount to a secure location.

Check your vehicle's headlight fuse. Make sure it is rated at 20amps or higher. Replace the fuse with a 20amp fuse if your headlight fuse is of a lower rating.

Reconnect the battery cables.

Turn light switch on and allow your new xenon light to run for 10 minutes.

Bi-Xenon Installation Instructions:

Wiring Diagram

Verify that the HID Conversion Kit you received have all the component needed for the installation (A list of component available below)

Clean all connectors and wipe the HID bulbs and connectors with rubbing alcohol

Install the HID bulbs into the headlight housing

Connect the HID bulbs to the ballast (2 round quick-disconnects)

Connect the high beam control wires (small rectangular connectors)

Connect the ballasts to the Hi/Lo wiring harness (oval connectors with yellow rubber seals)

Connect the 3-pin socket on the wiring harness to ONE of the headlight sockets

Connect the thick red wire to the battery positive

Connect the thick black wires to the battery negative or ground

Mount the ballast and clean up the wiring harness with zip ties

Find a mounting location for the ballast. (Please refer to the image below)

To make sure the two headlights are even adjusted, please turn on the headlights directly against a flat wall 20 feet away and adjust lights until the cut-offs of two headlight line up.

Troubleshooting:

Flickering during pre-test or bulb out warning: Some vehicles measure the resistance of the bulb connecting into the factory socket. Since the Xenon ballast does not use any resistance when lighting the bulbs, the vehicles computer thinks there is something wrong, when there really is not. It will then begin to flicker the HID kit and may display a bulb out warning. To remedy this, an automotive HID bulb out resistor must be used, or a bulb out warning module.

Single Beam HID Conversion Kit Components:

HID Xenon Bulbs (with wires) Two (2) pieces

HID Ballasts Two (2) pieces

Bracket(s)/Screw(s)/Other Mounting Accessories One (1) set

Installation Manual One (1) piece

Bi-Xenon HID Conversion Kit Components:

HID Xenon Bi-Xenon Bulbs (with wires) Two (2) pieces

HID Ballasts Two (2) pieces

Hi/Low Beam Control Wiring Harness One (1) piece

Bracket(s)/Screw(s)/Other Mounting Accessories One (1) set

Installation Manual One (1) piece

***Some items may vary from one manufacturer to another***

This Installation guide is written for the HID Conversion Kits listed above. Some kits might require additional steps that are not listed here. Contact your supplier for more information

Some cars may require the wiring on the kit to be reversed, this is due to some car manufacturers designs. This will require reversing the wires inside the HID plug or wiring the kit directly to the car harness. The problem seems to appear on cars with hi/lo beams such as: Mitsubishi Eclipse, Ford Windstar and Crown Victoria.
